Band Camp is where it all begins! 

If you have a child that plans on being a part of the Perquimans County Marching Pirates, this is where the fun and hard work begins. Band Camp is where your child will learn the do's and don'ts of Marching Band. They will learn the proper way to stand, march, carry their instruments, conduct themselves, and work together as a team, to make the marching season a success! They will learn the importance of hydrating, not locking their knees when standing, and avoiding energy drinks before practice, competitions, games, and other strenuous activities. It is vital that your child shows up every day to Band Camp, and stays the entire day! One missed day of camp, or even one missed hour, could mean that your child falls too far behind to catch up, and may have to be let go from Marching Band. We understand that things come up, but please make every effort to have your child there on time every day and ready to work. If for some reason your child will not be able to attend, will be late or need to leave early, please contact Mr. or Mrs. Copeland. You can find their contact information HERE

BAND CAMP DONATIONS NEEDED

PQBB has created an Amazon Wish List for items needed for band camp and competition season, for those that would like to help, but don't necessarily have the time. Most of these items are needed for band camp, but donations of these items will be gratefully accepted for the next several months. Check out our Wish List HERE

    Items can be dropped off at the PCHS Band room from July 29th - August 9th

Anything purchased for Band Camp before those dates can be dropped of at The Chamber Of Commerce at 118 W. Market St, Hertford, NC. (make sure to tell them it's for the band!)
